Anne Bijur
Customer Communications

Anne Bijur is passionate about sustainability and renewable energy. She comes to AllEarth Renewables from the non-profit world and views her move as an opportunity to have a greater impact working for a company tackling the challenges of peak oil and climate change head on.

Anne first became involved with wind energy while working at Shelburne Farms as its sustainability coordinator. Anne coordinated efforts to analyze wind data and begin the process of installing a 100kW turbine. During her ten years at Shelburne Farms, Anne implemented many sustainability initiatives to help the Farm uphold its mission of cultivating a conservation ethic. She also coordinated the Vermont Education for Sustainability Project and helped write the first K-12 sustainability education standard.

Anne received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and her master’s degree in natural resource planning from the University of Vermont.

Away from work, Anne enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, running, practicing yoga, traveling, and reading.
