Doug Goldsmith
Chief Operating Officer

Doug Goldsmith likes a challenge - whether he's hiking the Green Mountains, running after his two young children, or orchestrating AllEarth Renewables' multi-disciplined team to produce renewable energy systems to reduce our carbon footprint. Doug is a flexible yet highly organized part of the AllEarth Renewables' management team, and despite his engineering background, his responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer include all things business-related.

Doug earned both of his degrees from the University of Vermont - a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master's in Business Administration. Prior to joining AllEarth Renewables, Doug was a rock climber - busy climbing the corporate ladder of Rock of Ages Corporation for 15 years. His work at Rock of Ages included serving as Chief Information Officer, Vice President of Finance and Administration, and President/Chief Operating Officer of the Quarry Division. His career included worldwide travel and encompassed standardizing the accounting system and operations of more than 100 retail stores in 20 states; financial reporting, SEC compliance, and budgeting; development and implementation of new marketing strategies; and management change initiatives designed to improve performance and productivity.

Since joining AllEarth Renewables, Doug has enjoyed helping to put the pieces together to form a lean and flexible manufacturing company that provides Vermont-made wind and solar energy products to environmentally conscious homeowners and businesses.
