Keith Epstein
Mechanical Design Engineer

Keith realized he would eventually work in the renewable energy field after his interest was sparked by a class he took at Cornell University.

While earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Cornell, Keith was a member of a Cornell team of 30 students that designed and built racecars for an international competition. He also undertook a summer research product in China where he learned to speak a little Mandarin. After graduating from Cornell, Keith worked for Kionix in Ithaca (NY) as a mechanical design engineer and applications engineer for MEMS (micro electro mechanical systems) inertial sensors.
Keith was attracted to AllEarth Renewables by the fun and talented people here, the interesting projects they work on, and by the Burlington area.

When not on the job, Keith is an on- and off-road cyclist and unicyclist, and enjoys alpine and cross-country skiing and playing with his daughters.
