Vermont Small Wind Incentives

Earth Turbines customers qualify for additional incentives!

When you have an Earth Turbines wind system installed, you are eligible to receive incentives based upon the size of your system.

Homeowners and businesses can receive $2.50 per watt (up to $4.00 per watt with Vermont-made components) with a maximum of $12,500. Earth Turbines is the only Vermont company that manufactures its turbines and towers right here in Vermont and allows you to qualify for the additional “made in Vermont” incentives.

Schools and municipalities can receive $4.50 per watt with a maximum of $20,000 or 50% of the total installed cost (whichever is the lesser). Additional incentives for Vermont-made components are not available to school and municipalities.

NOTE: System incentive amounts are determined based on manufacturer’s total rated turbine output with a hub-height wind speed of 11 meters per second.
